About
Praxera grows out of an educational history built over more than twenty-five years. The organisation began in 1998 as a post-secondary business school and, later still, became the International School of Law and Business. Each stage reflected the needs of its time: practical preparation for a profession, access to higher education, business and legal competences, and internationalisation.
Today a new stage begins: Praxera. It renews the former higher education institution's long-standing idea of practical education for a world that places ever greater value on people's real ability to create, make, build, maintain, design and solve practical problems.
The name brings together two ideas:
praxis
Knowledge that becomes action and practice.
era
A new period of vocational learning, technology and mastery.
So Praxera means a new era of practical knowledge.
Our mission
To make vocational learning practical, accessible and transferable: connecting real tasks, learning with experts and like-minded peers, physical making spaces and digital solutions that employers can trust. Praxera stays closest to employers and listens to what they need.
